Use this product if your opener has yellow antenna wires and/or a round yellow learn button ONLY. It is not compatible with any other version of the opener.
This universal interface module simply connects between your legacy device with standard relay outputs and your Security+ 2.0 garage door opener (LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Raynor and Craftsman AssureLink). This simply connects using your existing device wiring and appears to the opener as an additional wall control. Requires one-time pairing with the opener. Stripped, tinned and jacketed 22 gauge input/output wires approximately 10" long. Full instructions included, or click the link below.
For increased reduction of the potential effects of environmental noise, install the module at the control I/O point -- do NOT extend the wiring on the input side of the module. When extending the output side wiring to the opener, please consider running shielded wire between the opener and interface module. Only connect the shield to ground at one end to minimize noise caused by ground loops. See related items below to purchase Belden 9451 shielded cable.
This product is ONLY compatible with Security+ 2.0 openers. You can tell if your opener is a Security+ 2.0 version, if it has yellow antenna wires and a round yellow LEARN button on the motor unit. If your opener has any other color antenna wires or learn button, do NOT order this product -- instead select the Universal Wireless Interface Module.
Note that we've found this product to be incompatible with the LiftMaster 8500W and the Raynor Prodigy II jack-shaft (wall mounted) openers. If you have one of these models, please select the Universal Wireless Interface Module instead. This module is, however, compatible with the new Liftmaster 98022/98032 jackshaft openers.
